Pokemon did not create monster catching nor did they create rpg systems - digimon is literally the same year & monster quest is years older that created the rpg blueprint - and shin megami tensei is older than Pokemon & perhaps the actual first monster catcher.

Palworld does not have evolution.

Palworld is not turned based.

Palworld does not have gyms.

Palworld does not have a strict party system.

Pokemon, digimon and monster quest all have monsters that are similar to each other with more than dozens of examples - even monster rancher which is from the same era - but they also have tons of unique mons kust like Palworld.

I think the game looks like an Unreal Engine 5 asset store flip for the most part with its terrain - and its mons, terrain and humans are all different art styles.

Those are actual critiques.

We dont have to make up other critiques or pretend Palworld is unique in this "copying".

Of course they obviously have Pokemon inspirations just like most other monster catchers before it, but it also has it own.

And these niggas use legot gun and theres a big focus on survival gameplay (which im personally not a fan of either).

It is a "Pokemon clone" in the way most other Pokemon clones are. From Spectrobes to that one ghost one that popular a bit on 3ds that even had its own cartoon as well. But they, including Palworld, are vastly different in so many other ways lol.
