If you pick up the Kindle give us your thoughts, I've been on the fence about picking one up for awhile
I mean I prefer print. It does get quite costly and space intensive after a while, though. I was considering purchasing a kindle, however, I realized I don’t want to stare at a screen for the entirety of my day.
It depends. I usually prefer digital if the physical copy has really tiny print.
Reading The Lord of the Rings right and some of these pages are like f***ing bricks.
I don’t buy digitally though, only physical copies.
My library has a massive ebook selection and it’s the s***.
I love to actually hold a book but kindle is so convenient that I’ve gravitated towards that
thinking of getting kindle paperwhite. Is it worth it
Libgen.is and Gutenberg make the Kindle the best value for any device you could buy.
I got a Nook Glow off of LetGo for $15
nothing beats that new/old book smell :)
Tried a kindle s*** never really clicked for me
thas like lookin at a vinyl on youtube playin music
and havin a vinyl player playin it really
i prefer paperback but i think a kindle would be a great investment
I will still read famous novels and other stuff on paperback but was just thinking of buying kindles for reading other type of books
Nothing beats a good hardcover, but ebooks are extremely convenient sometimes. Actually a lot of the time.
I’d buy it, but not as a substitute for the real thing.
Love my Kindle paper white, but like to go back and read actual paperbacks every once in a while
Of course people will say paper back since it's so traditional. However, the unlimited supply of books you can pick up instantly and for free via a Kindle is attractive - I'm tempted to get one myself tbh
What is most cost effective Kindle out right now? Do they still "print" the text on the page so it feels more authentic / less draining screen time or am imagining that feature?

One of the best decisions I’ve ever made.
