I bought the Kobo Libra a few months ago. I’m super happy with it. I actually enjoy e-readers a lot because it gives you so many options to easily read niche books.

I use paperback for regular sized books and Kindle for books I'm not sure if I'll enjoy or if the book is super thick. The Kindle is 100% worth it

from someone who has a kindle paperwhite:
I only use it on vacations now, and I don't even buy books I just pirate them and transfer to my kindle. I really prefer having something physical to hold, and it also makes me feel guilty having a paperback and not reading it. I only buy second hand tho for environmental reasons

How does one pirate and transfer to kindle

I download the .epub or .pdf from libgen.is, then connect my kindle to my laptop and transfer the files from my laptop to the "Documents" folder on my kindle.

If it’s a textbook I have to get a hardcover, way faster opening the book and referencing chapters for studying.
Shorter books and just reading leisurely I use a kindle
