Party has shown so much progression since he started. First with PND1, he was running with the smooth ratchet trap&b crooner and gave us classics like Wus Good/Curious, Make A Mil or Break From Toronto
then he randomly hit us with two of his best songs: West District and Persian Rugs. Keep in mind those were random soundcloud loosies.

With PND2, he moves on a darker, moody style of singing mixing it well with his more minimalistic production.
But this is where things get interesting, Party starts experimenting way more in his music after this release. With the EP Colours, he tries pitching up and down his voice, rapping, trying different atmospheres.

The OVO Sound radio tracks are so unique that they deserve their own era imo. Party takes experimentation a bit further and even starts whistling (!!!) on tracks, like on All I Wanna Do (classic song). The production gets way more creative too, with obscure quick looped samples, reminescent of Devante Swing's style of production.

P3 has commonly been referred to as the “Yeezus of contemporary r&b”. A harrowing account of the pains of love and heartbreak, PARTY continues to push the envelope of modern pop music. Incorporating numerous styles world music, PARTY has developed a genre-defying potpourri that was highly misunderstood at the time of its release, as many great works of art are. The influence of this seminal record can be heard in the songs of 6LACK, 24Hrs, pink sweats, Khalid, Snoh Aalegra, Jessie Reyes, and even The Weeknd.

Hot off the heels of writing for Jay Electronica, Travis Scott, Drake and Rihanna, among others, Durag Jesus once again aims to set the standard of r&b music with PARTYMOBILE.
