your f***ing ed g, no cap

not once did i ever care to compare 2020's beyonce u wana know why, no one gives a f*** about beyone in 2020's

"Beyonce - debuted in a group in the 90's peaked in the 2000's, was already declining sales wise in the early 2010's before she did the superbowl in 2013, and as you can see her relevance in music only declinded since she did the superbowl" - my original post.

tell me where i mentioned 2020's? dumbass nigga. everything i said in my original post is facts. SHE WAS IN HER PRIME IN THE 2000'S, and she has INDEEED lost relevance sales wise since 2013. this is not debatable. it is a fact.

we were comparing post-2013 beyonce with PRIME beyonce, your dumbass just started talking about 2020's like that matters, she is not relevant at all in the 2020's, sorry to break it you

your original post: “and as you can see her relevance in music only declinded since she did the superbowl”

Imagine thinking US sales are more relevant that global sales. 🥴

Thankfully Beyoncé is not a local act like certain other artists. World stadium tours only!

Exactly! Best selling album of 2016 in the world.

You're correct. The IFPI report from 2016 didn't consider album equivalent units, resulting in the recording of pure album sales. Consequently, Beyoncé's 'Lemonade' claimed the top spot. However, 'Views' amassed over 4 million album equivalent units in 2016, potentially even more overseas.

    light skin chronicles

  • Drake won't be headlining the Super Bowl in the near future. He's in the process of solidifying legendary status in his career, and if I were to make a bold prediction, I believe he aims to surpass MJ's record for the most number ones as a male artist before going on a prolonged hiatus.

Additionally, given his history with Roc Nation, especially his relationship with Jay-Z, it's improbable he'd choose to perform at the Super Bowl under their management. Their dynamic has often suggested underlying tensions and competition, dating back to Drake's preference for Apple over Tidal. He doesn't want to be viewed being under him in any type of way. Just my own personal observation.

the rest of post kept getting worse

The Weeknd just had some of the biggest hits ever and is currently on a stadium tour. An actual real popstar.

Beyoncé is currently set to have her biggest debut ever next week, had a successful era 25 years into her career, just finished one of the biggest tours ever

If anything, Drake is the one that is 5 years past his peak now.

Why are KTT users so delusional? It’s like you guys live in a different universe when it comes to discussing non-rappers

Regarding Drake, he’s not a performer, lacks showmanship for a stage like this, and a lot of his hits are not big enough with the general audience (the Super Bowl is watched by +100M people).

Weeknd got outsold by gunna , shut up

2023 rihana - retired from music for years/past her prime (her peaked being late 2000's/early 2010's), her last tour was in 2016 lol.....

Bruno Mars - legit a few hits, no longevity to his career at all, superbowl was his last form of relevancy

Beyonce - debuted in a group in the 90's peaked in the 2000's, was already declining sales wise in the early 2010's before she did the superbowl in 2014, and as you can see her relevance in music only declinded since she did the superbowl

the weeknd - this ones iffy, personally I say his ability to make a #1 hit has fallen since his peak in the early to mid 2010's (where all his generaitonal hits came from), but i also understand that he still tours and makes hits here and there so ill give you that one

as you can see its generally a trend, look at superbowl performers in the 2000's, a lot of rock bands from the 80's and 90's performing in the 2000's as their last "hoorah", its always been the case

typically its hard to rehearse and set aside months of planning for the performance when youre still an active artist, you also have to remember they do not get paid either, so for someone like drake/Taylor swift who can sell out his tour at any time, get millions of sales at any time, it makes 0 sense to do a superbowl performance from a financial aspect imo

maybe im wrong though but this is how i see it

The weeknd part is heavy cope lol. After hours was his commercial peak.

  • Even right now he has popular and some other songs
