    This true?

People should’ve respected the Michael Jackson we actually did have rather than desperately trying to find the “new” or “latest” one.

Kanye is the greatest living artist and in a lane of his own. He doesn’t need to be the “new MJ”

Hiphop is not as big as what MJ did

i disagree i think Kanye has moved hip hop into the fine art category over and over, and honestly showed the power of music and sound. He's about to be the influence AGAIN for a THIRD decade

Obviously hiphop has become bigger but its not something that everybody likes. Thats one of the reasons Hurricane is doing so well. They love that sing s***

i keep saying Kanye is the closest thing we have to Michael, he's pretty much a household name, or at least EVERYONE has heard a Kanye song at some time in their life. Sadly I don't think people will give him that praise till he's gone. He's lowkey got a much wider skill set than Michael and will create A LOT more than just music in his life

Ye is so much more closer to Prince than Michael.

He's more close to a lot of icons than Mike. He's even more like Bob Dylan or Andre than Mike.

With Michael it feels like people are just naming the most iconic name you can think of. There's not that many similarities. You might as well just say he reminds you of Elvis for the same reason lol.

it's the biggest genre so it's almost there. I think it's just hard to imagine something like the Beatles or Mike happening again, no matter the genre.

Adele and Drake are the closest thing in terms of popularity. Adele sort of did it with 21. Biggest billboard 200 album oat and had appeal to all generations at the time

The YOUNGEST genre is inevitably the biggest because it demands the most growth!!!!
