Y’all it’s been five years since Persona 5 was released, and it was originally intended to be a 2015 game. It’s about time for a Persona 6 announcement, although I wouldn’t expect it to release before 2023.

Maybe one of the announcements will be Altus remembering that the full version of Colors Flying High exists.

It could happen but i doubt it, maybe pc or switch but even that probably won’t happen. Seems like they want to keep the persona games on playstation and the SMT games on nintendo consoles

Just started really playing P5 Royal; I initially quit about 5-7hrs in bc it felt too slow but after the first palace I got pretty hooked

0 chance they even tease P6 this year imo, they’ve been pretty blatant about not stepping on SMTV’s release and rightfully so. That said, P3R finally would really distract me a lot from SMTV either way lol

Low-key kind of tired of the people constantly asking for Persona to break free from high school.

Like, literally one of the core appeals of the series is it being a quasi-fantasy of how you WISHED your high school experience had been.

Anyone who had a s*** high school life likely fantasized at one point or another about how sick it would be to be a badass with super powers who was charismatic, funny and the smartest kid in class who all the girls liked.

There’s a reason why high school/teen settings appeal so much in fiction, even divorced of the more absurd aspects of the Persona series.

Problem being is there are plenty of people who’ve never gone to college, whereabouts high school is a far more universal experience.

Also, high school provides a much more rigid structure that allows for more gamified mechanics, whereabouts college is more free form (since you can choose to just skip classes and whatnot and not face any repercussions for example).

Only reason I wouldn’t think so is because I doubt Atlus would want to avoid its character dating female cast members (unless they make her bi, which considering their track record with gays with the last game, might not be a guarantee).

Maybe they’ll do male/female or something.
