0 chance they even tease P6 this year imo, theyâve been pretty blatant about not stepping on SMTVâs release and rightfully so. That said, P3R finally would really distract me a lot from SMTV either way lol
The last reveal is in 2022 autumn
The new arena game (if it ever comes out) better have Elizabeth at least mentioned
Better include all persona games too. I have a strong bias for 2 and the characters in that game
is there like any solid proof the games will be on xbox i remember seeing it somewhere before
Highly unlikely unfortunately. Sony specifically came out and said that they value Persona being an exclusive. Outside of SMT nine, the only Megaten games on Xbox are the Persona arena games.
Yâall itâs been five years since Persona 5 was released, and it was originally intended to be a 2015 game. Itâs about time for a Persona 6 announcement, although I wouldnât expect it to release before 2023.
The wild thing is it was actually supposed to be a 2014 game when it was first teased
Persona 6 is a strong reality especially with the popularity of Persona now. I would be surprised if itâs not at least teased this year. Wouldnât surprise me if it drops next year. Iâm fine with all things Persona now that mainline got some love this year. Need Devil Survivor ports next tho
Also Sony âappreciatingâ Persona as an exclusive annoys the hell out of me for pure fact that Sony refused to promote Persona 5 or give a f*** about it until after it became a success

I can tell Sony's just gonna start buying up exclusivity for the super big "prestige" Japanese games as an answer to the issues they've been having in that region.
Now they want to be THE place to play the next mainline Persona, KH, FF, and surely the next Nier. But if ATLUS wanted to make a new Devil Summoner for PS5 I bet they'd look the other way

Maybe not P6 but somewhere down the line itâs gonna happen. Microsoft and Sega relationship is growing stronger
PSO2 was able to get Persona themed cosmetics and Persona music tracks on Xbox because Sega has the last word on Atlus at the end of the day

Last announcement is 2022 Fall so a 2023 release makes the most sense tbh
Also standing firm on my theory that Re:Fantasy is P6 or in the Persona universe
the director stated that the game will be totally unrelated to the persona franchise
i expect it to be close spiritually tho, since the core team behind p3/4/5 is working on this game

I mean it wouldnât be the first time that game developers have pulled that but I just canât imagine them finding a way to put it out in the next 5 years with Persona 6 coming (most likely after all these spin-offs), SMTV coming (and potential enhanced version or something similar to Apocalypse), especially considering theyâre going to milk P6 with spin-offs as usual. Weâll see tho

that's two differents teams
the director and the team behind p3/4/5 are working on project re fantasy and a new team is working on p6

No I get that I just donât see how theyâll release it considering Altus is pretty linear when it comes to releasing their big titles, and rarely have ever released two different games while in another ones lifespan. Theyâd cannibalize ReF really hard trying to drop it during a Persona cycle so we might really be waiting years for it

oh ok i got you
atlus is a weird company, so it's hard to tell their next moves
Itâs 2021 weâve stopped being excited for Project ReFantasy and are quietly hoping that Wada and the new Persona team wonât be as conservative as Hashino.
Imagine an entire game with the writing of Royalâs new semester. Or actual adult playable characters like in Strikers. Or just not sexist and homophobic as s***.
Big if true
"According to Atlus director Naoto Hiraoka, the vision for Persona 6 is not a small one and one that can't be realized with the current staff. That is the drive behind the recruitment ad, to garner for talent to make this the game that they want to deliver. "
looks like it's still very early in production.
Lets go to an island this time f*** the big cities, something like Onomichi from Yakuza 6 would be lit

Hmm so a 2022 or 2023 reveal then
