Strikers is finished, and I gotta say, I had fun with it. That being said, I would never play it again.

I mean that formula of combat just isn’t fun after awhile, and it got to a point where the game would tell me “hey, this may be your last chance to complete any thing you may have missed in previous Jails” and without hesitation I continued anyway because I just didn’t care anymore lmao. Although I’ll say the way they set up the finale with the final boss was really dope.

It’s so weird that Konoe/Ichinose have such similar ideas to Maruki. Wanting to rid the world of pain and suffering, and give people a cognition of their dreams. They do have different ways of going about it, but it’s still the same idea. Both Royal and Strikers challenge the Phantom Thieves moral dilemma when it comes to the justification of changing someone’s heart/cognition. In Royal, the thieves have already excepted Maruki’s reality and it’s Joker and Akechi that snap the team out of it. However in Strikers, when Ichinose proposes the idea, they all deny it and say they would never accept that false reality, as without pain and hardship, you cannot become your true self. It’s almost hypocritical considering they just did so in Royal. Yeah I know it’s not canon but still

Zenkechi is the best character in the game story wise, kinda sucks he’s more than likely forever trapped in this game, I don’t think he’s ever coming back

Sophie is neat, I used her less and less as the game went on though. I do think she’ll return in some capacity

All in all, it’s a decent game, 6.5-7/10 imo

I will say, between the DLC, the knowledge of what shadows do what, and the QoL updates, bosses are wayyyy easier than in the previous game, and that's with me now playing on Hard

I think you should be able to date Akechi honestly. Only male I have that take for because it'd amplify the story for some rather massive events down the road

Go this game a few weeks ago (the Royal version), and I've been working my way through it. I was gonna stay out of this thread until I beat it. but...

It's November 18th, I didn't do the Maruki link, I googled to see if there were any consequences and found out I missed out on a huge chunk of the game. FUUUUUCK. Gotta reload an old save.

I was only doing one save for the first ~100 hours, but I got the sense I might need multiple. Thank god I did.

Loving the game otherwise. I've been wanting to play since P5 was first announced back in like 2013, but never had a console to play it on. It's definitely lived up to the hype.
