metro did a really good job of not oversaturating his sound after DS2

The thing about Pierre's sound is that it's way easier to replicate than Metro's ever was cause of that drum pattern he always uses. It's genius because it's minimal, easy to flow on and creates a lot of space for both rapper and producer alike to show off their best. But as long as you have those drum patterns and some bright ass synths, you have a "Pierre-type" beat. I feel like COVID really f***ed with his momentum too.
