Drake has NEVER sounded as bad vocally as he did on HN.. stop lying breh! We all loved that cover of Kanye’s 24

They wouldn’t have complained about Drake’s lyrics if the Melody, the flow and his interpretation was hitting.

For example:

beyonce on heated on paper looks like
“ Like stolen Chanel, lock me up in jail
Cuff me, please, 'cause this ain't fair
Dripped in my pearls like Coco Chanel
Uncle Jonny made my dress
That cheap Spandex, she looks a mess”

But when you HEAR it on record it sounds like:

And it’s the HARDEST part of the song.. why!? It’s not because the lyrics necessary cut deep or even make any real sense.. it jus that she sounds energetic and lit as f*** saying them.. that’s charm, that’s wit, that’s presence. She makes us believe her

Drake on the other hand sounded like he needed a good nap lol

“that means you think his singing on HN sounds good because it’s the exact same delivery and cadence he’s used in his singing his entire career” - baby his autotune was set in the wrong key and his falsetto passages were OFF. Wayy to much dip on the chip especially those first few records

The vocal performance doesn’t justify the huge gap in score

They basically gave her s*** a 90 and his a 66 that’s nearly a 30 point swing

I could see if that gave HNM a 7.5 and this like an 8.5, that would be reasonable

They aren’t even trying to hide their biased-ness anymore

10 points - middle of the water/lifeless production

10 points - terrible sounding vocals

10 points - little presence/boring delivery

The fans and GP agree and his sales for the album reflect that

Production is the best part of Renaissance and as a whole, imo >>>

I still spin Sticky, Massive, and Jimmy cooks on the regular tho.

This album is my aoty so far and I don't even listen to Bey like that

Trying to say Drake is excused from criticism because he can't sing as good as Beyonce is hilarious. This the same man that made Take Care. The s*** was just not good this time around

He’s never been a great singer, he’s even admitted that several times. He just has a nice tone and can hold a note, but he’s never been truly great or exceptional at singing

His TONAL quality and color of his timbre gear was far more rich with a beautiful color
Those Eb4 belts were soooo prettty and had such a clarity to it and then he goes and releases HN like breh whettt
