how is GOSPEL FOR A NEW CENTURY lower than wap
Cowards rated his album too low as well. Should be a 9+
whole tape with Digital Nas is solid, but imo Summer is by far her best song so far. Got high hopes for her future tho
she got 2 tapes? gonna give them a listen
Legit tbh
yeah I wouldn't necessarily say it's a good thing either or certainly not wholly good anyway. As you say, I think it's important to derive music and views from differing sources. Imo the rym crowd is definitely very guilty of focusing almost completely on a small subset of approved artists/albums to their detriment. In a way, you could see that going the way of p4k gradually adopting a poptimist bent over the years to the point where their whole MO seems to be pop and light pop critiques
What you're saying is, you hate women?
We living under new rules, get with it
in all seriousness WAP could very well be one of the best this year but no way in hell is it better than that song lol
I want you to love me, fire and garden song are good picks tbh, rest isn't top 10 worthy, shoulda picked kerosene instead of gospel, #1 is an offensively bad pick but hardly surprising
wap actually is one of the best songs of the year but seeing the same publication that gave dark fantasy a 10 a decade ago do this is pretty funny
good question. I think I faintly remember it was already pretty hyped but only really took off after the fantano co-sign. Peggy is def like Fantano's best contribution to criticism in recent years
And brockhampton
But peggy really benefited the most from his co-sign
The pandering is really real and it’s so blantant lmao
that’s what got me pitchfork recently been doing everything to pander to a certain type of reader they be overanalysing a song they don’t need to overanalyse acting like it’s some cryptic radiohead song
when did pitchfork become such pandering f***s
And brockhampton
But peggy really benefited the most from his co-sign
this prolly makes me a wack ktt og but I was never with the brockbrompton hype like that tbh
When I opened the thread. I was like I bet they put WAP at number one. The song is fine but man is it overrated
that’s what got me pitchfork recently been doing everything to pander to a certain type of reader they be overanalysing a song they don’t need to overanalyse acting like it’s some cryptic radiohead song
word, and the people they pander to aren’t even probably checking them out which is the funny part lmao
Where's the official end of year ktt lists? Turn out would be much better.
it would be way worse lol
