Idk Avengers turned out to be a disaster, and while it’s only a single player adventure, I still don’t trust it, I ain’t gonna get it.” I was just gonna keep it movin, and just ignore this game all together.
But, curiosity got the best of me, and literally for %50 off, I thought, “Hey you know what, if I’m so skeptical about it, I rather pay the smaller price than full price”. So with OP’s suggestion and the sale, I bought it.
OP did not miss at all, this s*** is phenomenal.
If Marvel’s Spider-Man was a love letter to that character, this is the same thing. Being true to the comic versions with some sprinkle of MCU. The visuals, the music, the locations, the story, the characters, BRO. The people who made this legitimately cared about every little detail in this game. It’s sad that it’s kinda rare these days to play a game with this much heart and soul. No bs paywalls, no cut corners and being ridiculously unfinished. This is a AAA title.
It’s not all perfect though, I do have some gripes with the combat, but that could easily be fixed in a sequel. If you’re concerned that you only play as Star-Lord, I can tell you right now it makes %100 sense, as the game sets you as the leader making very important decisions that will impact the game.

This is what a great game looks like and is in my top 3 games of the year along with Forza Horizon 5 and Guilty Gear Strive. If you haven’t played Guardians of The Galaxy, what are you doing with your life.

Finally let my intrigue get the best of me and got this last night. Didnt play it yet but hopefully it's as good as everyone says. Just want a good linear story and good gameplay honestly, even though I'm not into the gotg universe. Maybe this will get me into it.

Yeah was on the psn network looking for a new game, and was looking at Sifu, Battlefield Hardline
cuz it is currently like 7 bucks on there.Choose this as I just keep hearing too many good things about it.

So I cranked it up and playing it now. Still in the extremely early stages of the beginning but liking the presentation so far. I was curious how long this would be, and I saw times ranging from 17hrs to 25-30 hours. That's like God of War or even TLoU part 2 length from the sound of it. I didn't think this would be that long so that's a pleasant surprise. Thought this would be like a 10 or 12 hour thing but sounds like it it is a deeper game then I initially thought. Bout to dive in.

Interesting that this game seems like it's kinda similar to god of war for some reason. I dont know why, maybe just in the presentation but its dope. Enjoying this so far. Liking the scale of the levels and the colors. The character banter so far is some of the best I've seen implemented in a game since the early uncharted games, which is where I personally started seeing that type of "character banter during gameplay" dynamic become very popular

Both great games but I enjoyed this more. I’d say go with your intuition on this one. Maybe going from a dark serious game to a more hearty game is a good idea

Start this, LOU can get almost tiring at times to play, it’s pretty heavy in terms of content

people have dumb logic and didn't play the game because of Avengers, takes less than a minute to research and learn that the games are nothing alike, very underrated, wish it was longer
