it took 3 months for my 1 boy to stop hiding under the bed. it takes time sometimes but now we have the best damn relationship. just be calm and show your cat it can trust you. that you mean no harm. every day always check on it. always see it.

Like chunks of dry food mixed with wet food. Like the food wasn’t even chewed up. Is this normal? Why did he throw up or spit it out? hes back to hiding and being really scared again too

Cats do this when they eat too fast, one of my cats hasn’t done it in forever but my other one does it from time to time, yours might be scared so he was eating quick to go back to his spot

Dude ate too much too fast. Some cats are able to eat a regular amount even if they have a huge pile of food. Others need to be fed portions otherwise they will turn into fatasses. So just leave less out next time.
