Unless your running two Gardevoirs in your deck Gengar won't be very competitive against the other high tier EXs. Honestly Alakazam is a lot more useful.

I don't understand how they gave Pikachu such a good card when Gengar is a stage 2 evolution & just as iconic but his card is somehow worse

Game is cool but being f2p players are gonna struggle if the want multiple decks that are viable

i finally got all the cards i need for the starmie ex deck

I'm F2P and I built decent fire, water, electric, psychic and fighting decks I switch between. Able to get wins, think I got a Silver emblem and working my way to Gold

There are cards I'm missing that I need to have the best possible decks like Raichu, Magneton etc. But you can just trade your pack points if there's one or two cards you need to complete the deck you want

Fyi I heard you can scam the 2 week subscription trial. End the day before and it should let you get another 2 weeks

People underestimate the creativity that you can have with water and fighting decks

i just saw someone say that once the Genetic Apex packs are gone (the three we can choose from now), then the pack points will be gone. i don't think these packs will be gone anytime soon. supposedly we are getting new expansions in January but i would doubt we are losing the current ones to choose from then. honestly, im not sure but it would be scummy for the developers to take away those points without fair warning to spend them

hell yeah, i need one more starmie ex and i'll be set. i don't even remember which pack they come from lol. i just used my pack points for both mistys cause i was tired of waiting and of course i get two of them within a week of spending the points lmao

i'm level 21 and it's very slow. you get xp from battling, wonder picking, opening packs, and i believe from completing solo events. other than that, you could pay to open more packs and wonder pick to get more XP. anyone who is a really high level has probably spent a s*** ton on this game

What can I get from completing the Lapras event besides promo packs?

Yeah I'm damn near done with everything I can do sans the crazy ass challenges on the "Expert" solos and I'm level 18. Just gonna keep playing online idk

lapras event is over but it gave you stardust (nearly useless), shop tickets, and maybe some hourglasses if i remember correctly. also i think the first time completing each battle gave you some XP

yeah luckily there will be some new events on Friday. i don't think it's designed to keep you in it a ton unless you just love battling randoms, just a handful of times a day

Pretty dope game but I beat all the solo s*** and using all my hourglass things to open like 60 packs I still have s*** cards so idk what else there is to do without spending real life $$
