    There is nothing you can get through the monetization aspect that you can’t get just by playing, there’s even text that says this in the shop. Spending money on this would be a huge waste.

    supposedly whales are dominating the low tier of competitive play with full mewtwo and pikachu decks lol thats all you get though it seems

    i mean its pokemon, millenials will empty money for it no matter what

    I dont see much of anyone talking about it, and I wish I could think of a good game launch to compare money to but there hasnt really been any big pokemon games or apps released outside of main ones lately. mystery dungeon made a hell of a lot more but its not a fair comparison

    I almost feel like 3 mill is low as hell for how they teased the game, but idk

    Gonna start saving my pull currency for future packs. I've unlocked 400 cards and I can make some of these decks work just missing the right trainer cards

    Or start w a fresh account again

    i am def not rerolling, i just wanna rawdog if first play lol. but ive been lucky to get some good pulls

    I'm interested in it. There used to be a version of the Pokemon TCG you could play on desktop I wanna say around the mid 2010s, but I'm guessing they got rid of it. This might be the new version of it, with a whole bunch of monetization bullshit in it now. Still, if I'm able to enjoy casually without spending much or any money, I'll check it out sometime.

    they still have the other online TCG with full rules i believe. this is a simplified version, removing a few moves and abilities and changing how energy works. feels very intuitive for me as someone who hasn't played many card games

    did you complete all goals for the expert solo battles? having to battle that venusaur deck with a strictly fighting style deck is hard af cause i don't have any crazy fighting style cards yet

    not yet I just beat them all and didn’t go back for a while, I just finished all the advanced challenges, I’m working through them slowly lol

    also the new lapras event got my attention for now

    nah you get a random pick from 5 of them, i'm assuming lapras is a lower percentage pick because i've gotten 10-15 promo packs and pulled everyone except lapras
