Yeah it's confused me in the past but I know now

For now my Dreepy is insanely trash compared to the rest of my party though.

If something else cool comes a long there’s a good chance I drop him. He’s literally useless in battle right now and I’m even overleveled for the part of the story I am at.

My Dreepy currently knows Astonish, Infestion, Quick Attack, and Bite

At level 40. That’s a literal garbage moveset. He can’t learn any of the TR/TMs I own either.

Yeah he's weak af in the first stage. Its basically Magikarp or Beldum with an evetual pay off being their strong af finals, but takes even longer to evolve lol.

The level to evolve is ridiculous af. Its first evo should have been at least level 30 or 40 like the Salamence or Dragonite lines.

The way they did is making Dragapult only usuable mostly in Competitive or rematches, which sucks that you cant really travel with viably.

You have to do it right when it levels up iirc

Yeah, this Pokémon definitely needs a rework imo. And it feels like he doesn’t even learn enough Dragon moves still with my new knowledge. I’ll keep him for now but he’s on the chopping block. The rest of my team probably won’t change the rest of the game.

I'm like you too. I like to do at least my first play through of each Pokemon with it's all new gen Pokemon only.

Nice. You should get to playing it! I like using all New gen Pokémon. Mimikyu will be the one exception like how Alakaxam was for Gen 7 (who eventually left my party, just late in the game.) Mimikyu is my favorite Pokémon ever now and he’s only been in one Gen before this so I’m keeping him haha

Psy isnt needed , I would recommend you to get a good bird for fight types because they are also better against most of them (the steel fly one is the best option) , I also recommend getting a fight mon because all the steel/rock/Ice/Dark mons you are going to find bewear its for me the best option because his hability but if you want to use only new mons then get you the octopus
