Nah seriously, a lot of people in the discords I'm in have said it might be a holiday release, but then others are saying it's being held until Pokemon day 2027.
Ruby, Sapphire, AND Emerald are coming. It's not just R&S lol it's also rumored that the OG mystery dungeon Red rescue team could get released tooI don’t understand how Nintendo would benefit from releasing all 3 at once… most people are just gonna buy emerald. I’d love to be wrong tho

There's no incentive for them to release any of them besides money. We didn't need FireRed and Leaf green separately. Most people bought FireRed.

Yea milking them is the game plan for sure, but to maximize profits you would release R/S first and then hope people double dip on emerald later
Look i know we love pokemon and all but why is it a big deal that the gba games are coming to the switch.
decent gba emulators have been a thing since forever, you can find the roms without much effort, hell you can even emulate gba these days on ur mobile devices with ur browser no emulator required.Like, why pay 20+ dollars for this, theres like 10 free ways to play these.
