I reached the rose tower and literally every trainer you fight in the Story has Pokémon weak to your starter.

As much fun as I’m having, this game has some really glaring design flaws and while I would probably give it an 8/10, it might be my least favorite Gen to date.

Does anyone have a spare Mew? Or a Mee that I can get for Pokédex purposes and then trade back?

Yeah it doesn't. They didn't bother giving the extra Pokemon they left in the code dex entries. Only the main 400

I’m just one shorting this entire tournament with Pyro Ball. Even if it’s not super effective.

Only time I don’t use it is when it’s not very effective and then I sometimes I don’t one shot.

Been using Obstagoon, Toxtricity, Hatrenne, Charizard, Dragapult and Inteleon for the Sordward/Shielbert post game stuff
Obstagoon really weak tho, only use it cause it's dark type
Gonna try and catch a Larvitar to use it instead

Looks like I’ll probably just avoid all that unless I come across if. My backlog of games is way too large to continue playing after I complete the dex. It’s cool that at least added some Pokémon beyond the Dex though.

They maybe just imported data. They may never be distributed. GF doesn't really care about events anymore just sending out shinies of legends and starters. That's why they relocked the starters and Legendaries from being soft reset for. I don't even think it's a mythical even though it was said that it was some spots left but they scrubbed the data for those empty slots.

Yeah they relocked then. Ehhh it's not really understandable. Why shiny lock legendaries. Just let it be a thing. They usually only do that because the legendary is in cut scenes and they don't want to edit the cut scene. Gen V,VI,VII legendaries were locked. USUM unlocked the legendaries

Got rid of Corviknight off my team because he was by far my least used Pokémon. Added Eternatus to my team. It will be nice to have a Dragon type!

Just looked up TRs/TMs this guy can learn and he barely can learn any Dragon types moves. I was hoping for something stronger to replace Dragon Pulse with. :(
