Dec 2, 2019UltimaHow the hell is Gen 4 the weakest when it had the second most content of ANY gen behind BW2? Gen 4 took the Battle frontier and made it 10x better. HGSS are the best games in the series to date with not only the improvements from platinum but just about everything from Gen 2 was fixed. Team Galatic has the third best villain faction behind Team Rocket and Team Plasma.
Sinnoh sound track and music is probably the best soundtrack in the series. Gen IV had one of the best competitive scenes also and was the last balanced competitive scene for a long time. You trippin mane. Only negative for Gen IV was that Diamond and Pearl was slowed down engine wise but was fixed in platinum.I don’t want to argue right now but I want to clarify that when I say Gen 4 I’m not talking about remakes. My honest, final thoughts on Pokémon Shield.
The good:
1. Graphics are good
2. Gameplay is great
3. Game was addicting, couldn’t put it down and only started to get tired around 70 hrs in
4. Music is great
5. New Pokémon designs are good
6. Wild Area was a great addition
7. Good afterstory
8. FunThe bad:
1. Lack of Pokémon is bad
2. Easiest game of all time
3. Online features are trash
4. Wild Area when connected to Online was buggy constantly, even just riding around on my bike.
5. Whole game should have been 3D like the wild area.
6. Curry DexDespite having flaws, I enjoyed it a lot and I’m thinking a 7.5 or 8/10.
Gave needs work for sure but it was still fun, something you can rely on every mainline Pokémon game to be.

all this for me too except graphics, i think they're OK or decent but it coulda looked way better switch isn't that weak of a system

No actually because their back catelog of old games is deep now why not do a remake or demake of older games to waste time. Demake Gen 3 or 4 in Gen 2 engine or remake Gen 5 in Gen 6 or 7 engine. Then they could sell them for like $10-$20. If these guys on Pokemon community can remake and demake games I'm sure GF can. That way they could push new gens further away while doing spins on older games instead of remakes to buy time.
