Here’s the problem Pokémon fans aren’t getting:

First off, this DLC looks AMAZING. Really dope and exciting stuff they’re adding.

The problem is the BASE GAME. The base game isn’t worth $60. They cut content to reach a deadline. They cut content and half assed a game and charged full price for it

Now they’re saying pay another $30 for cut content. And THATS the problem.

Microsoft and Sony pull scummy moves like this. Not Nintendo / Pokémon.

That’s why I’m (and others) are upset.

Pick the fire starter. Use fire attacks everytime. Get rid of bullshit like growl and tailwhip and never ever use them.

The things I was just unsure about the most are all the new, weird items

Experience candies and energy powders and stardusts and weird s*** like that..... obviously I can read the descriptions..., I just don’t know like when’s the best times to use em and stuff like that

Exp candies basically just level up your pokemon. So I'd just use them whenever.

I think energy powders just heal your pokemon. I wouldnt use those unless you're in a battle or cant get to a pokecenter

I think they're alot cheaper than max potions too so they're amazing in the end game and you can prolly stack like 20 by the endgame

What I did is go to that guy that sells the energy roots. The ones that fully restore your pokemon and bought a ton of them when I had alot of money and I absolutely destroyed the champion

Bingo. The same thing Pokemon is doing is the same thing Fallout 76 and Bethesda did. One got a pass and the other is continuously s***ted on. For some reason nobody is even talking about how God awful the online system is. They got rid of the GTS for link codes smh. They made 6v6 20 min matches.

Just use them when you want. This game isn't deep at all lol. You can probably get level 60 Pokemon without even using a single exp candy or rare candy.

It's not better than the enhanced versions at all. Like people look at the third games as cash grabs but they were so much deeper than that. This DLC doesn't fix the issues of the base game. Just add in content they cut out the game.
