after the DLC id have to say that for sure Gen 8 is better than 6 or 7 but it also falls flat when compared with Gens 4 and 5, in story and in gameplay features

Gens 1-3 were nostalgia based fun but the way they felt magically adventureous is what we need back in the series, that special essence of a new world

also Gamefreak has to stop showing us everything before the games launch, i didnt even know what was gonna happen in Gens 1-5 even after seeing the TV commercials, going into Gens 6-8 i feel like i helped develop the games lmao and nothing was really that new on release

on top of all that i think there needs to be difficulty settings that actually work like a hard mode that makes me barely able to beat most of the gyms on first try
