and we'll get a super kid friendly Let's Go Johto that is an exact remake of Crystal with a few minor additions and a bunch of things cut out

Man, gamefreak needs some work. I guess if you want to be optimistic they can only hopefully go up from here. They don't have to develop for a tiny ass handheld anymore. I would mention Animal Crossing's beautiful transition but they're the same devs as the Splatoon devs so they've had experience since Wii U.

apparently in development they f***ed up the importer for assets from USUM, and still ran with it tryna fix the game
cause if they restarted they couldnt meet the yearly deadline.

f***ing incompetence just own up to it instead of tell us 'remade models high quality animations'
this is gonna be a PR disaster and here's hoping the next entry isnt just an upscaled 3ds game

This has nothing to do with fans. Game Freak has always been on a yearly cycle. It's also Nintendo that set the deadline. It's a double edge sword. If you want better games stop supporting it.

Let one team do the remakes and enhanced versions and a separate team do the new gen mainline games.
