legends is giving off awkward growing pains vibes
a necessary step forward but it might be painful
we’ll see
iirc the first ever BOTW gameplay trailer also looked pretty barren. might be a little too early to really put an opinion out there.
but 2022 seems a little ambitious
my first Pokemon game was diamond wonder If I should get pearl this time
Damn kind of crazy a lot of the ppl on here didn’t start off with the OG games

wouldn’t be surprised if that early 2022 release dates becomes late 2022

fr. The fact they didnt show you being able to battle wild pokemon makes me think its gonna be a lets go type game.
P sure they did
looked like BOTW without the content
Exactly that. No charm in that trailer at all, everything looked bland and sad.
they stole that ground texture from og halo reach
Game famous for being on first page of KTT threads
i wasn't even expecting a Sw/Sh-type remake tbh, but the art style looks so lazy. especially for a Switch game.
the pokemon company's definitely got funds to do a whole lot more than that.
highest grossing franchise of All Time
and they still won't license to bigger, more ambitious developers up to today's standard
gen 4 looks like a mobile game man
worst part is, it's still gonna do massive numbers
Im looking at pokemon legends in a pessimistic way: im expecting them to f*** it up and only with later entries to fully realize the concept, so if it does disappoint ill be fine with it. That's the life of a pokemon fan and it has been for 10 years
man idk
the over world sprites look so terrible
my first Pokemon game was diamond wonder If I should get pearl this time
Am the opposite diamond and pearl were the last games I played heavy since then I just pop in every now and then
LMAO bro they better fix that before release
They'll probably polish it. I liked how it looked - art style wise, but surely it could need some polishing. Still a year away from release so hopefully they can get some things done.
pokemon company been on a downward spiral tbh, IP needs new blood
Need digimon to step up
Diamond and Pearl remake is cool but holy f*** Legends Arceus! Finally an action rpg Pokemon game!
man idk
I think the art style is hideous
Damn kind of crazy a lot of the ppl on here didn’t start off with the OG games
This. Diamond and Pearl was when I thought I was too good for video games at the start of high school lol.

Only problem is the character models tbh

it's cause folks keep buying the games. it doesn't matter how much dissent they get if it's still lining their pockets.
s***'s sad tbh. just compare the pokemon company to other in-house Nintendo dev teams. the ambitions are way different.

Facts. Even though the game made tremendous improvement compared to R&B there was nothing like being on the playground sharing the rare candy cheat or helping someone beat gym leader
