No bro, it shouldn't be celebrated. Gamefreak doesn't get props until the product drops. They've consistently burned fans for almost 10 years. Never ever give a company the benefit of doubt because they're trying something new, without perfecting what they started with the other 3D games, and still doing the same thing from a technical stand point. I'm always going to be hard on them because we've been giving them a pass for far to long. If any other company dropped a showcase where their game is having massive technical issues they would get roasted. Like imagine if Sony dropped a Spider-Man 2 trailer and Spider-Man is swinging at 1FPS, nobody and I mean NOBODY would let that go. Even Sucker Punch caught flak for the initial Ghost of Tsushima trailers because of the stuttering and poor frame rates. It was their first game in that kind of style. They silenced everyone when they dropped a A+ game...... Game Freak has done 3D roaming Pokemon before and it's always looked like that chingling. Even when Lucas was standing in the grass it was massive frame drops and lagging. This is due to them not being good at making 3D games. It's also what's going to be the main criticism of the game, especially from casuals. They've had 10 years to get the hang of 3D gaming.

I always said since the trailer drop to wait until it comes out. I have been defending both games, but I'm not giving them a pass. If that seems like I'm being negative then i think the game looks nice, but I'm not letting that slide, that should be a concern from any long time fan. Same with DPP remakes. The chibi style looks goofy, but I like the look overall that it's a 1:1 remake and not just DPP thrown into SW/SH artstyle, it's something different since the 3D era started. The 3D models on that game needs to be touched up as well.

I'm all for legends, it looks amazing, I continue to say this, but if it drops with frame stutters, barren, and not really fun it's getting roasted.

Nah, CoroCoro May magazine should have new info on DPP remakes and Legends. That usually drops in April. The April Mag that drops this month probably will be a teaser. Pokemon Sunday should also have teasers in May and June as well.

its the perfect MOBA for Pokemon

the mobile play is amazing, can imagine Switch being even better with actual buttons and a bigger screen

they never did that, you never had to pay for them unless 30 slots in Home isnt enough of course

but D/P remakes arent gonna be that way and id assume Pokemon Legends wont have a direct connection to Home because its a story driven ARPG with Gen 4 as the main Pokemon and 3 outside starters

It wont be. Not in the remake, not in Arceus & not in gen 9.
They made Home for a reason. It's to make it universally connected so its not locked to one game or split up, & to make some pocket change on the way.

It is how it will be for the foreseeable future. At least for as long as the Switch is around.
