Never happening and you know it
also rlly wished they just used the full sized models in D/P cause they look so much better
Need Nintendo to somehow acquire the Pokémon IP fully. Fire everyone from game freak, and have one of their first parties develop Pokémon
Never happening the three way split brings in way to much money for all three. The balance of power is to powerful
I'm still excited about the D/P remakes. My only hope is that they keep the difficulty of the OG games in tact. It wasn't super hard, but at least it was harder than whatever tf Pokemon been on for the last 3 generations
Legends Arceus also looks solid gameplay wise. Graphically still looks ass, but if you going into a Pokemon game expecting great graphics...well I mean what are you really even playing Pokemon for? Cause it seems like you got lost in the sauce at some point.
am i the only one excited for Legends???
looks 100x better than what they showed originally
I wonder if Legends is where Darkrai will show up also
Darkrai/Cresselia DLC coming late 2022

I think it looks fun af I really do not know what people were expecting from it lmao we can all agree visually it could use more polish, but gameplay wise it looks like a great time.
I could've sworn that was the most important thing in a game, especially when it comes to Nintendo, but these days I really don't know anymore.
i swear we need a standalone competitive game that takes the Vs. mode from Sw/Sh and evolves it even more with full HOME connectivity, a fully fledged Pokemon battle game would be awesome and would allow them to not focus that part in each new game

I was a bit intrigued when it was first revealed earlier this year because of the concept of an open-world Pokémon game, but seeing it today I honestly don't see much improvement. It still looks rusty as heck to me haha.
At the moment I'm probably going to pass on both games. Might change my opinion closer to launch but if they released today I would pass.

Nah I'm going check it out. I just need more information. If I'm spending $60 on a game, I want a game, not a Balan's wonderland where the story is told through some other medium or its a bunch of fetch quest and the story is vague as hell
The D/P remakes look mid af. At least i hope there is some added content because it really seems like the same game but with other graphics and customizable clothes. They are looking like the worst pokemon remakes.
Legend of Arceus looks interesting at least. Creating the Pokedex looks like a fun concept and if the game is really fun, catching every Pokemon would be really dope. Hope it has a good dex. I also really like they arent abandoning region variants, giving basculin and stantler evolutions is so great. I just hope they dont give Meowth another one lol.
Hope they dont fumble the bag with Legends of Arceus. And that megaevolutions returns with the remakes, like i dont understand why they abandoned that, its one of the coolest concept they ever created

Regarding the removal of megaevolution you must be new to Pokemon if you're asking this question or wondering why it was removed.

Hard pass if they released today.

Well people are expecting a game that's more than just doing fetch quest for people to evolve a Pokemon or just catching pokemon. That kind of gameplay gets stale very quickly.

Im not new to pokemon lol. I have played every game except for Sword and Shield. I know how Game Freak moves and that it was expected that it wasnt returning. Still think that they of should keep doing it

They always remove mechanics featured in a generation. They have a really skewed philosophy when it comes to a generational mechanic. Mega Evolution should be in BDSP as it's being directed by Masuda who directed Let's Go Pikachu/Eevee.

gotta admit that we are overly excited though, acting as if this is our last big trailer for the game might not be a good idea
lets see how the game looks at the NEXT showcase sometime between October and launch im guessing?

compared to the initial footage this has 10x more to see but im with you, need more
idk if people itt will realize they still havent shown us Arceus in-game nor have they explained why the lightning strikes happen or how you will stop them?
there's gotta be some open world event based boss fights too, at least one per biome

We live in an era where people willingly buy games like Cyberpunk, Avengers, the multiple re-ports of Skyrim and GTA V, and various other looter-shooters or Dark Souls clones that are literally the same exact games just a different coat of paint.
Pokemon in essence had its same formula since 96 and people been buying it regardless of "staleness". Now are you gonna try to tell me graphics of all things is where people are gonna draw the line?

I need a few bit more information. Because nobody wants to be stuck with a $60 brick.
