Ehhh the last really good game was Black&White 2. The last few gens have been mediocre.

I agree, everything after B2/W2 has gotten worse and worse, and its obvious with SW/SH their phoning it in big time. Its simple things, like how the UI looks generic as hell for a pokemon game, and how they giving auto exp share with no option to turn it off so they dont have to balance the game properly.

Wait, what?
Exp. Share has been busted since whatever Gen (6?) decided to make it level the entire party. It removed the need balance how much you train your entire team.
Now we are going to blow through an already easy game with a beefed up squad.
and a swsh tetris 99 theme even nov 8-11 for the real ones out there

okay but i have found that this lets you make your “team” far larger than 6 ppl. for example i just beat Sun and i had about 10-12 dif dudes, all relatively the same level, to choose from for my Elite 4 team. also, bc i was constantly swapping dudes out for various gyms or just parts of my journey, by the time i reached Elite 4 i was slightly under leveled (as opposed to incredibly over leveled) which made it actually sort of challenging for once.
you feel like Ash from the anime or sum - where you got dudes on deck in the PC you ready to swap out as you need to deal wit various challenges, and gives you way more freedom than just getting 6 dudes, calling it a day and beating the entire game with just those 6
my two cents at least, i love the change bc pokemon was already too easy but if you use the Exp Share right it makes it more fun and exciting
Having a difficult time getting fully excited about this game. Haven’t played a main series Pokémon game in years and would love to have something on the Switch, however something is holding me back from getting as pumped about this as I feel like I should be as a Pokémon fan lol.

If your underleveled by by the elite 4 in Gen 6-7 you couldn't be challenged. The E4 CPU suck too.

well that goes for the entirety of ingame trainers but my point still stands, way less emphasis on just nonsense grinding for no real pay off in the end

Ehhh to each its own. Especially since you can run through the game with one Pokemon. Making the exp always on is a bad idea and bad design after they made it so you get EXP from anything in Lets Go and EXP go to every Pokemon.
Not sure which to cop. Been a bit behind on info for this
Look at the exclusives in the OP that's all you need to know.
Undertale’s Toby Fox composed one of the battle themes
That's dope
