Bottle caps were introduced in Gen 7 to help raise EVs easier than battling the same pokemon over and over.
So are they just items u purchase? I dont have to grind out the training anymore?? 😭 it really is 2021 😭😭😭
Grand Underground is addicting as hell. Might like it more than DexNav
I was mad about old hideouts not returning but this statue system aint bad at all.
I skipped out on Sword and Shield so I missed out on this new egg move passing mechanic, game changer.

Yeah, but it's post game.

Let's be honest the statue system is a lot more useful than decorating a hideout and playing capture the flag. Most people won't even appreciate someone's hideout.

For sure. Hoenn hideouts were better anyway. A dungeon room fits the treasure hunting vibe.
You can kill it and then come back later to catch it?
Idk how this works and I’m at that point rn and don’t know what to do lol
Yeah once you've done elite 4, you can go back to it!
caught a magnemite holding a metal coat in the underground and then ran into a scyther in the next room
is it a sign
Diamond/Pearl worth a Gamefly rent?
Lol wtf yeah what's the worst that can happen your gonna return it prematurely
Hearthome Gym background
This Drifblim Ace Trainer and my Torterra been going at it for a while lol this one is worthy of an anime adaption.
I feel like the AI has improved a bit.

ngl roark’s cranidos swept my team probably the biggest L I’ve ever taken in this series. glad to hear people say it’s a more challenging game though

lmao fr. I got swept in the underground twice, Brave Bird Murkrow and Dynamicpunch Croagunk (caught that).
Me too. I've been rotating my team around and using bitter herbs for an extra edge.
I'm really looking forward to competitive tier rematches in the postgame. Lowkey it's what convinced me to get this.
Hearthome battle was the most entertaining gym leader I’ve had so far
Same, Strength Sap Drifblim is a really fun opponent. Fantina is pretty charismatic too I kinda forgot about her.

Worst thing for me is actually liking it and buying a copy which lines GameFreak pockets. Sword & Shield scarred me (even though I got it off eBay)
29 hours deep.
F***ing Christ. Onto the elite four. Then it's Radar and shiny hunting for a while especially onto Palkia I'll be resetting till I get it

barely beat him he got a Crit headbutt on my turtwig if that motehrfucker flinched I would have lost
Okay so can anyone give me a quick how to with EV and IV training? It’s always confused me since X & Y. How does it work in this game? Is it absolutely necessary for me to do matches online? I always get discouraged from playing because I feel so dumb and don’t understand these things
lost my first nuzelocke run to the double battle ace trainer with Monforno + Gyrados I completely forgot about him and had my backup team as the party
I thought I was hot s*** with my dialga but then some f***ing trainer on route 223 just wiped it out with his lv43 gastrodon

I don’t think there quick explaination. Google it and then go on Pokémon showdown to see how EVs and IVs affect your stats in the team builder.
Basically you’ll lose most time online if your Pokémon aren’t EV trained. EV training used to be a grind until Pokémon Sun/Moon so I’m guessing it’s a lot easier in this game too.
