ppls who said the gameplay in battles was different were capping tho i know they removed abilities and soem s*** but its basically regular pokemon in battle (thats ok i guess but id honestly rather some pokemon rumble s*** with free movement and like 2 attacks on the buttons)

Nah the battle system is more so like FFVII Remake. The Pokemon have a ATB system. It's not like the regular battle system. Like some boss Pokemon can continue to attack multiple times before your Pokemon can attack if their ATB is faster than your pokemon. Your trainer character can also be attacked. This is Game Freak's way of making the game difficult.

The game isn't open world. The environment is segmented like Monster Hunter. You que up for the area you want to go to from the hub world. The game is actually nothing like BOTW. It's Game Freak's fault because the first trailer gave off the wrong impression.

Yeah it's monster Hunter like. It plays nothing like BOTW. It plays like Monster Hunter World. Game Freak f***ed up by doing those shots in the first trailer that made it seem like BOTW. Now everyone has these unrealistic expectations when they should be thinking more Monster Hunter instead.

This game is either going to be a huge success or a huge flop. It's no in-between at this point. It has to much hype with the casuals. If it's barren and boring they definitely going get a rude awakening.

Yup, I feel like if reviewers are super critical this game is going to trashed by fans. But we know reviewers like IGN don't really pay attention to the series. They give every Pokemon game the same score.
