My theory is the starters are getting worse because they keep trying to make them into characters you can sell toys of and not an actual animal you can find in nature

I know this s*** doesn’t matter but the names of these games kinda lame. Starters also boring. The water starter is the typical meme starter they have in every gen now. Fire one is the best looking to me. If they improve on Sword / Shield in the right areas and combine this with Legend Arceus, this can turn out pretty good ngl

Them releasing games at an alarming rate will never stop. The games will continue to have quality issues. They don't have to. They have two separate teams because of this. Expect another remake soon as well after Scarlet and violet.
