Love that they went back to colors, they haven’t done that since black/white ten years ago
This game looks incredible. Looks like Arceus + mainline game combined which is all I have ever wanted.
My theory is the starters are getting worse because they keep trying to make them into characters you can sell toys of and not an actual animal you can find in nature
Cinderace is the worst example of this
But Cinderace is the best starter of Gen 8 by far

I’m not that big of any of the gen 8 starters tbh. Probably my least favorites

Cinderace is pog to me but the other two are beyond mid

damn it’s been 10 years
I remember running B&W on some s***ty emulators back then at 5 FPS
let’s hope they stick with Alpha pokemon and don’t get rid of 2vsX wild/trainers encounters
maaan i wanna grab a switch and start playing pokémon again but i'm soooo out of the loop
last game i played was emerald era
i feel so f***ing lost
my suggestion is to go with Brilliant Diamond or Shining Pearl
if this game has a similar open vibe like legends but with the traditional battle system i’m all in.
Not bad tbh... I am looking forward to those 2 games and the update for Pokémon Legends: Arceus

Knowing game freak they'll leave it behind.

Gen 8 starters are all pretty bad design wise.
This is the first time all 3 baby starters have looked good since gen 5
these starters look like the type of s*** you see on deviantart in 2013
it's alright though. I like the way the graphics are a blend of snap and PLA. Seems like Q4 of 2022 will be stacked
