This isn't true at all. Masuda didn't even work on ORAS. Ohmori did. Masuda hasn't made a main series game since X and Y. He was only a consultant and mouth piece after that. Ohmori is the one that's been dumbing the games down. You also can tell a Masuda game vs an Ohmori game by the quality (Let's Go compared to Sword & Shield)

Masuda isn't the one that was doing this. He was only taking up for the young Ohmori who made ORAS. Look at the difference between Let's Go and Sword and Shield. Look at even the content that was added to Lets Go vs Sword and Shield. He's literally been a shield for the younger team. Now that he's not there they're about to get the full brunt of criticism.
