Some of the starter choices are odd, I get the hisuian ones cause of the past/future themes, but all the gen 6 starters, all the gen 8 starters and just the charizard line is a weird choice.

It's because they can be transferred from Sword and Shield. Gen V is missing starters and I think and Gen II
