ah word mb, yeah its just frustrating to me because game freak could literally throw halo infinite money at the pokemon series but i guess the games are just such a small part of the pokemon company now, i guess they just arent that high of a priority

wouldn't be surprised if we saw an anime only gen coming up/media exclusive pokemon

yeah facts imagine a Pokémon game that had cutscenes the quality of the animes they release lol

I get where they’re coming from but Gamefreak can barely handle a modern 3d game as it is lol. The money, resources and most importantly time should be spent elsewhere. Voice acting for these games with mostly short and mediocre stories is not a top priority imo.

I guarantee that the voice acting will be bad and knowing Gamefreak there wont be any alternate language options let alone volume control lol.

can't say it's unacceptable and still buy it though. That is the problem imho.

We need it

Graphics are extra, they add to the game, sure, but they’re not a core component by any stretch of the imagination. Gameplay is omni-important. That’s why games likes ocarina of time and super Mario 64 are still more fun than most modern games.

They should just hire the same voice actors that are in the anime

The only thing that would be difficult is when the characters say your custom name of the main character

That would probably best if they could make that happen around TPC’s release schedule

Ehh from the outside looking in there is a lot more than just graphics that need to be addressed, but I can't say too much considering I haven't played the games in over a decade. I'm not even a graphics w****, but the fact that sooooooo many of the skill animations are more or less still the same as they were 20 years ago is just appalling

Eh, I guess if the game was less fun I’d be more nit picky about those things but it doesn’t really matter because of how satisfying it is to play

This is my goty on the switch for sure and there was way better looking games like Kirby and the forgotten land, splatoon 3, xeno 3, legends:arceus, etc. so graphics are definitely a secondary thing, especially on switch where even the best games are 720p 30fps with unstable frame rate during intense sections
