Same. Want to replay BW by am holding off on the .1% chance we get an HD2D remake announced on Pokemon day 😭
Everything’s pointing to a BW remake
I’d be shocked if we don’t get it this year or next year tbh

BW remakes are guaranteed I’m with you. Them being HD2D is extremely unlikely is what I’m saying, but would be my dream🥲 I’d just hold my replay until those drop instead

Tf is hd2d
Let’s Go Johto / Pokémon Legends Celebi / HGSS remakes SO SOON
Hgss remake?
That s*** is already a remake, give me a Pokemon Yellow remaster

2.5D sprite based art style that octopath traveler pioneered
Here’s the most recent example of the tech:

Lots of people are hoping the BW remakes take that route. BW would actually be the perfect fit as they had a similar 2.5D style in certain areas

There's also a lot pointing to a G&S remake as well. If we get a B&W remake it'll be made by illca.

It's the 25th anniversary of the games. With the 3DS going down we'll no longer have access to the G&S virtual console. A remake in the style of what let's go did for Pokemon Yellow could be possible.
Pokemon Yellow got a remake already btw.

U mean the lets go series? Is it a proper game never played it

Yes the only thing different is how you catch Pokemon. But it's the Pokemon Yellow remake that happened during Pokemon Yellow's anniversary. They even included the female protagonist that never appeared in RBY but was featured in Pokemon adventures manga. It's also the only switch Pokemon game that has mega evolution in it.
imagine how great life would be if pokemon go had followed traditional pokemon combat, experience, and evolution principles and you could travel the entire world with your team catching and battling the same way you do in the mainline games

The problem people have with Pokemon Go was the intrusive micro transactions and lack of events. From my understanding people love how the gameplay is(I agree with you it should have been more traditional but for mobile).

oh for sure. I don't doubt the game they made was optimal from a commercial standpoint and for the casual fan/user, but selfishly as a lifelong fan of the franchise I would have loved something more similar to what I described.

people complain about this so much but you can do anything in the game for free really, you just actually have to play it
I played for years without ever spending a cent, returned like 5 months ago and I barely buy anything because I max my coins out everyday anyways. spent some cash on raid passes here and there and once I think I spent money just to get cosmetics faster, then like 3 or 4 dollars total for multiple events
so many events its hard to keep up with too, I dont get it
I love the combat and stuff, its nice to turn my brain off to. tanking is hilarious and dumb it exists, but its still so fun to do lol. if I want normal pokemon combat I can just fire up radical red on my phone, or whatever switch/gba/ds one I want to play anyways

Downloaded, no wild battles is a horrible idea

Yeah that's the only thing that isn't "traditional" but it's a yellow remake if anything.
Is there any way to play omega ruby/sapphire on emulator?
Yes you can play AS/OR on emulator. You could just mod a 3DS and download all the 3D games since the store is closed.

I'll be honest with you I stopped paying Go attention after the first summer it came out before any of the stuff people complain about was in the game lol. I only keep up with it now because it's always in the news how niatic is messing up the game and because my old boss was really into it and would complain a lot along with the Pokemon Go reddit.

Yup it could have also been a direct demand from GF to not have the same game play as the main games.

Which emulator is the best?

That's the problem, the people on the subreddits don't play either lol
Since I've been back playing I couldn't believe it's not remotely as bad as what people always say, it's not difficult at all to max out your coin income every day
But remote raids passes should at least be a little cheaper for real. It shouldn't take a week to get 3 free raid passes. But it's far from impossible to not achieve most things for free. A lot of people really just want it to fail for some reason, or basically want the game to just play itself
There's been a handful of good moves by niatic recently, but definitely some annoying stuff still (like gible being in its state, and tanking being so useful) but damn reddit makes it out to be the worst thing to exist. And I've seen people say when they buy passes and raid they rarely win the Pokemon, that just means they're terrible at the game ? In 5 months I think I've only not got the raid pokemon 3 times and it was always my fault
It seems like people on reddit refuse to join local groups and stuff too, and for me that's a big way to make the game "work" - what's funny is the main group I stuck with is actual a rural area group but I live inner city, like 45 minutes away from the group
When it first came out there was genuinely so much more to complain about, which is why so many quit playing and just watch the drama with popcorn, repeating what other people who also don't play have to say. On the reddit this week I kid you not two big posts got called out/found out to be complete trolls who do not even play the game and admitted to it in the comments, and no one even really cares they just kept b****ing together
Problems exist, but they're more about the report function of stops/routes, weird decisions around pokemon like gible, pvp reward set up/ranks and the current cost of raid passes overall. Eggs need a rework or at least a new pool too I guess but they aren't as bad as people say. Far from enough to keep me from playing, far from it even being a bad game in my book
Edit I happened to see they added some really good QoL updates today too, ones people have been whining for for ages. I'm sure r pgo won't say anything about that
