PLA beta dropped and I'll let you guys see what's hilarious about this. A specific gym leader.
Imo X and Y are the weakest games in the series but they could’ve really been classics
Damn I'm sad to read that BDSP was created the way it was on purpose. Not because ILCA didn't have time or GF didn't have time. They just choose to not do a real remake..........

100%
gen 6 had really good pokemon variety and qol features
but it was also so stale and boring + this is when pokemon started getting extremely easy

They really didnt want to do it and just do the Arceus s***
I wonder why they were so agaisnt having a proper remake like Oras and HG and SS when they are pretty loved games overall
I think an actual remake of D/P (and with the Platinum changes) would have been loved as much as those and sold like hot cakes

Nah it seems like they wanted to do it but just didn't feel like giving it the attention it should have because they was focused on PLA and PLZA. Claiming those games are the future of the franchise and that the traditional games will just be around to please that side of the fan base.
Things slowed to a crawl because the leaker is uploading 29 parts that have to be extracted together. It's going to take at least 3 days, we're only on day 1 1/2. Until now people are combing through the other games.
I haven't seen it yet
Listen man Im usually not too crazy about broken difficulty hacks and fakemon but this one is hitting so far.
Custom megas, variants etc. from what ive seem pretty well designed and meshes well with gamefreaks art style.
The main draw is every mon getting buffed and having 4 abilities, plus the usual 2 extra in rotation. It sounds stupid but is actually insanely fun to play lol
A lot of new abilities (obviously) and moves too.
Structurally it just feels like Showdown with Emerald paint coated on it. Didnt think i’d like that but everything they’ve added makes it work. Its still in development with plans make it much more of a complete game though.
Highly recommend

I hadn't heard of this either. I might get it right now to play today

For sure, just be ready to teambuild like crazy and catch everything or at least anything you may even slightly want to use.
I had to switch teams twice before reaching rustboro.

Well I like that s*** lol
Was planning on some emerald sea glass or continuing my first gen 7 run but I did just realized odyssey finally fully came out (I think) 2 weeks ago and I been waiting like 2 years on that one lol
Edit wrong odyssey is STILL in beta jfc it's just beta 3.5

Oh s*** the focus on abilities is intriguing but that seems soooo excessive lmao
Insane s*** you can do with that many switchable abilities

Never heard of Odyssey but after a quick peek im interested. It sounds exploration, maybe dungeon crawler based?
