Never heard of Odyssey but after a quick peek im interested. It sounds exploration, maybe dungeon crawler based?

It genuinely sounds overwheming and stupid at first but once you start those trainer battles and get comfortable

Listen man Im usually not too crazy about broken difficulty hacks and fakemon but this one is hitting so far.

Custom megas, variants etc. from what ive seem pretty well designed and meshes well with gamefreaks art style.

The main draw is every mon getting buffed and having 4 abilities, plus the usual 2 extra in rotation. It sounds stupid but is actually insanely fun to play lol

A lot of new abilities (obviously) and moves too.

Structurally it just feels like Showdown with Emerald paint coated on it. Didnt think i’d like that but everything they’ve added makes it work. Its still in development with plans make it much more of a complete game though.

Odyssey is going to be the next unbound in my opinion.

I only played a small amount a year ago before my device basically bricked the game (deleted it and all save states, new downloads attempted, nothing but the same game breaking screen) so I decided to wait until it's complete, supposedly the full story/before post game content parts will be done by early 2025. I'm sure a newer copy would work and I got 2 new viable devices anyways I can play it on

It's f***ing beautiful, and difficulty should be similar to unbound. The story sounds very intricate from the small amount I know

Then how did it leak on the Internet? I've never heard of a Nintendo museum and don't get what a prototype of it would entail, especially as a leak, im just wondering what that meant not for the actual leak

This wasn't just a Game Freak leak. It was a Nintendo leak and the employee had confidental photos that were taken inside the Nintendo Museum. Nintendo is super secretive of their museum because they want people to experience it themselves. They even have a lotto system where you have to be picked to enter it.

It's so locked down that people who have went said Nintendo doesn't allow them to take photos or record specific areas of the museum. The part that leak is a part of the museum that is forbidden to have photos taken of, which is the prototype section of the museum where they show all their prototype consoles.

Nope and ive come to terms with that a while ago but these leaks and the untapped potential beneath all these games just open up old wounds

I feel so bad for the Gen 4 remake truthers lol
