The fact Nintendo has made mods to other NSO classics with some even featuring online play, it's disgusting to try and justify it being sold because of Pokemon home lol. I feel like that's the easiest and laziest excuse.

This is coming from the same corporation selling us a Game-Key Card at full price (Pokopia at $70) so it should come as no surprise that they’re nickel & diming the old retro games as well.

The whole Switch 2 era has reeked of unfettered greed let’s be real though (and the system itself hasn’t even been a year old yet).

I remember Gen 1-2 were similar prices on 3DS And they were VC but they just tricked them out with local multiplayer and disabled save-anytime functionality
