Hey i can trade you
Got everything I needed already but thanks, if you need to trade or anything hit me up tho
My buddy helped me set up an emulator and I’m playing soul silver for the first time. Loving life rn
I'm towards the end of my Platinum playthrough, currently training to face the Elite Four. Just seen some of my Pokemon caught Pokerus
This the Pokemon I'm considering taking to the Elite Four and currently training up
Water - Golduck/Floatzel
Fire - Infernape/Houndoom/Rapidash
Dark - Weavile
Ground - Graveler. Might take a Ground/Water type instead
Ice - Weavile/Mamoswine
Grass - Roserade/Tangrowth
Dragon - Garchomp
Platinum's Elite Four is no joke
Trained my Infernape to Lvl 52 thinking he's fire, he can wipe the first guy (bug trainer) and gain some levels for the rest of the Elite Four. His first Pokemon, Yanmega, one hit KOs my Infernape with a flying move
Grinded some more and made it to the Psychic trainer before his Alakazam wiped my team. Currently just facing them over and over again grinding levels and getting money before I let Cynthia finish me off
Just beat Platinum for the first time and even beat Cynthia / Elite 4 on first try which I didn't expect at all. Thought it would be a long process
I just use my favorite Pokemon every time I play these games and I have to say that Froslass was the unexpected Goat when it came off to finishing Cynthias team. Garchomp, Togekiss, Milotic were all one shotted by Froslass. Could've even beat Roserade with it but switched out to Alteria.
My team was Torterra, Weaville, Froslass, Garchomp, Alteria and Floatzel. Game deserves all the flowers it gets btw.

Around what LVL were your Pokemon? I'm still struggling and my Pokemon are like LVL 55
Solid team, pretty sure I'm gonna be using Weaville, Garchomp and Floatzel too

I trained all up to 54 and Froslass was 56. I think its doable with lvl 55. Make sure to teach your Garchomp Fire Fang for Lucario.
I didn't really need Floatzel like that tbh. Even for the Fire Elite 4 guy, Garchomp beat his whole team.

I've been thinking the moves I got on my Pokemon probably the issue
I never really end up using TMs in Pokemon games but I think I should check my bag for stronger moves than my team currently has
I don't have any dark moves on Weavile, only ice. So I rely on Floatzel and Garchomp for the Psychic trainer, they both got Crunch. And I have Infernape so Lucario is covered

Yeah you can google the best movesets for each Pokemon but you don’t need to follow it exactly as I think it takes too much time and the effort is not worth it for just beating the Elite 4.
I'd say for Weavile Night Slash and Ice Punch would be the most optimal. Garchomp already learns his best moves. Most people play Earthquake with him but I didn’t do it. Dig was enough to beat anyone that was weak to Ground. Just make sure you have one strong move on your Pokemon that can crush your opponent’s given type.
Considered grinding more money out of the Elite Four but decided to just get it done
