Sapphire was my first Pokemon game. Still got that cartridge even though I lost all my other games. Yea you can emulate it but its not the same as playing it on a Switch

Yeah firered was really dope on switch and I've emulated fr and emerald 100+ times with different hacks, nuzlockes, and stuff like fast-forward

I'm not getting r or s though I'll only get emerald. Probably my most replayed game ever so I'm worried it'll suck without 8x speed running as a possibility

Nah seriously, a lot of people in the discords I'm in have said it might be a holiday release, but then others are saying it's being held until Pokemon day 2027.
Ruby, Sapphire, AND Emerald are coming. It's not just R&S lol it's also rumored that the OG mystery dungeon Red rescue team could get released too

As someone that's only played Pokemon on emulators, I can't imagine playing Pokemon on normal speed and without save states

only played ruby as a kid and then the remake when it came out, im hype to finally play emerald

I thought it would be a big drawback but it really wasn't at all

Was mainly surprised about not missing fast forward. You can still save any time you'd want to unless you're shiny hunting, or do the annoying strats for legendaries

The reason I bought it was to take pokemon out of it, and for access to the dlc I never got to play which I'd say was worth it

I never did much speed running or nuzlockes with firered though. I can see emerald being annoying without qol stuff for me more than fr

Holiday release would be fire, would fill their usual slot this year so it’d make a lot of sense. Pokemon day would work too as a nice way to round out the anniversary

Been playing Scarlet for the first time.. just beat the final DLC.

Honestly not that bad on the Switch 2. It's pretty enjoyable without all the glitches. Got the Shiny Charm and all. Only thing that sucks is how empty the towns are.

Hyped for Winds and Waves, really think it could be one of them ones.

I didn't have a lot of issues on the switch 1 until I played it on switch 2 and realized how much better it should have been. Honestly insane difference that made it a top 3 generation for me

Need explorers of time remake or at least ported
