I’m voting for Biden simply because I’m tired of the trump-era media and politics being shoved down throats

Hopefully leftist media will finally post positive articles on twitter with Biden in office because I’m tired of negativity and fear mongering

  • SIGH

The nature of Social media allowed politics to be dumbed down to sports team type fandom. My team is better than your team so there.

  • BIGGWAVE

To those of us who are mid twenties and older KNOW
it was never ALWAYS been this political.
Its sad that this is normal to alot of you younger ones i feel sorry for yall but whatever

Trump has f***ing federal police now who only answer to him. All he needs to do next is stage a major crisis. Putin did it. Mussolini did it. Hitler did it. Just f***ing watch what happens next.

You know this same argument could be made about the left don't you?

    So make the argument

I would argue that the identity politics of white vs black, BLM, cancel culture

left wing politicians actively inciting and encouraging rioting and unrest, letting their cities burn

@jason mentions all trump needs to do is stage a major crisis. he doesn't because the US is already in one, fuelled by the identity politics of the left

just look up all the videos of ted wheeler trying to show his support for the 'peaceful protestors' before getting mocked and thrown to the side

consistent rejection of federal support in quelling the riots, consistently refusing to admit that these are violent riots and maintaining a false narrative that everything thats going on is 'peaceful riots'

No, giving stupid people a platform has ruined our lives

Some people shouldn't be allowed a megaphone

  • Jul 27, 2020

Everything isn’t political and bringing polarization and left-right based judgement to every sphere of our lives is going to have unimaginably bad consequences

  • Jul 27, 2020

Politics is not new. The only difference is any talk of politics outside your family or close friends never happened. It was a rule to avoid politics BECAUSE of how heated things usually get.

That’s went out the window even before now, but the extremities of Trump and subsequently the political parties and their followers amplified it even more.

Blame conservatives for making politics into a culture war
