    cole breezy

Chris Brown makes the same song over and over

    Couldn’t be more incorrect

Hes had the same lead single 3 albums in a row tho.

    tomorrow volverse

from what I know he does write but he just writes bars / verses and he writes without a beat. not really an entire song. but he just pieces it together in his head when the beat plays and picks bars out. from something somebody said, I think no id. also if you read decoded he says that he never wanted people to steal his bars if he put them in notebooks so he would write verses and then memorize them. so it gave him a good memory

why does this sound more complicated than just not writing

    My Turn is a classic
    Kanye has 9 classics

no one thinks kanye has 9 classics

unless you count be and blueprint as a producer. but that's more like 1.5 cos he only did half of blueprint lol.

everything from dropout to throne could be a classic tho tbh, we're just not used to a run like that.

this is a strong list, but they're still top 20 at least and i'm not mad at top 10. can't put them over groups like three 6, kast, public enemy etc. tho, they're not close

They have 1 great album, 1 good album and 1 flop.

They havent spawned any other groups or artists.

Pusha can barely go Gold as a solo artist.

    Stop it

push is still very relevant tho. just cos you're not a chart topper doesn't mean you're irrelevant. you have to remember how much music is out there, push is more relevant than most artists will ever be 20 years on from clipse.

2 out of 3 is good.

Hell Hath no fury is a classic

And Lord Willin has a classic song Grindin, still getting referenced today, like on Friday Night Cypher.

Push has been a big part of kanye's 2010s to

a certification doesn't tell you everything, push has been a part of hip hop culture in a significant way for 2 decades.

you can say he's only relevant cos of his producers, but you have to admit there's a reason why two of the greatest producers OAT want to work with Push, why he can just call up Lauryn Hill to sing a hook for him.

People know how great push is, who cares if casuals don't lol

all that says is how high a standard their earlier music reached

but tbf i rarely go back to till the casket drops, but lw and hhnf tracks are more timeless

Who cares if they are credited or not?

If you're getting help writing your raps, you are a performer not an MC.

    that's fine lol

he never said hes the first or only one tho who else in his peer besides maybe cole is selling really well while making conscious albums

Don't remember him specifically referring to his peers with that line. Nas, Ye, Kanye, common, Lupe, Tribe, Lauryn Hill, etc all sold pretty well.

But I remember Kendrick, shrugging off the conscious thing in an interview when he said that all types of hip hop are conscious, because you're being conscious of yourself when writing it not to mention he's addressed critics labeling him as conscious in some of his lyrics.

Like I mentioned, seems like he just wanted to use it as a flex like ' im conscious and i can still sell well' which is just weird cus its not new.

Push only relevant when hes discussing Aubrey, let's be real.

I love him as an MC but he hasnt figured out a way to be interesting outside of his producers and his beef with The Canadian

    -Nas's beat selection is bad

-To Pimp A Butterfly is an acquired taste and only loved by hipsters

-Eminem's legacy is permanently tarnished and nobody listens to him anymore

-Graduation is one of Kanye's worst albums

-Ed Sheeran is trash and nobody listens to him

-Beyonce is bigger worldwide than Rihanna

-Tupac is only famous for his death

-Snoop Dogg is a one album wonder

Edit: These are narratives I feel should be debunked.
