I’m a gigantic fan of Parker and the 2 smile movies. I wish he wasn’t doing this! I get the allure of having a studio allow you infinite money to remake a movie you love, but he had a good thing going

There’s a world where this is good but idk the original feels like it was genuinely made by an angry and deranged person, idk if Parker has that in him. Smile gets mean but they’re fun.

Only thing I care about in Possession: that big ol’ slimey guy. Smile 1 & 2, very inconsistent viewing experiences but they have both have very memorable giant slimey guys. So this could work
