Travis isn't a producer tho. Calling Travis a producer Is like calling me a basketball player because I hoop at LA fitness sometimes
This gotta be the worst a***ogy I’ve ever seen on this website
Y’all aren’t ready for this convo but T22 has some incredible production. Only rapper right now really rapping over jersey club beats and dance beats.
That's an executive producer. I find it hard to believe that Travis is super hands on with the production. I imagine the extent of his input is saying s*** like "Make it sound dark" lol
He’s obviously doing a lot more than that if nobody else in rap right now is coming with albums that are as meticulously produced as he is

I already said he got a good ear for music but it's just weird to call him a "producer"

He’s exactly what a producer is.
The term you’re conflating that with is a “beatmaker”, which he is not
Its funny how on the wikipedia for rodeo, someone added travis scotts name on the credits for production for almost every song, when he actually isnt even on most of it on the real credits from the CD. He def an executive producer tho

We got too many beatmakers nowadays and not enough producers. That's why everything sound so basic. Travis is definetly a producer.

Exactly. Great producers are the difference between amazing albums and good/passable albums
