I don't have any good pics but we laid down walk-on mulch which has been a game changer instead of the bare dirt. We live in a desert so a lawn is irresponsible. We also have about 120sqft of raised beds which we have planted vegetables in. Verandah over the front door with a huge vine growing all over it so it's nice and shady. I'll upload some pics when I get home if I remember. It's very cozy ngl.

What colour mulch? I bought like 15 bags of red sierra mulch to put in that far corner last year, looked beautiful but the leaves from the cedar tree fell a bit during winter and now its covered with a lot of dead leaves, too lazy to clean it LOL

we have quite a bit of vegetables and fruits too, its so bless having your own food supply

we got two hoops in our backyard, a little playground, a flower bed, a vegetable garden,a chicken coop, a shed. we live in a big city so it's a blessing. the house was bought on a foreclosure about a decade ago so the price was affordable for a family

Its a light/medium brown. Had a landscaping company drop off 3 cubic yards of it and then we hauled it to the backyard ourselves. Way cheaper than buying a million bags.

RT on the food supply, we also have an apricot, pear, and peach tree in the front we well as lots of fresh herbs. Only recently started growing our own vegetables tho.

Currently staining and sealing our fences as well. Shoulda happened a long time ago but we just didn't think of it.

i mean it wasnt too much, worked out to about like 100ish dollars for the bags, and then maybe like 2 hours or so of work

Tru we just had so much ground to cover that was bare dirt that we would have needed like $500 of bags instead we just had the company bring it in for like $240 delivered.
