we got three black and white chickens that we get eggs from. i feed them spaghetti and s***, take out their poop, give them water. they run free in the garden, but when it rains too hard or when the night falls, i have to put them back in their coop, or otherwise foxes might eat them (which happened once) or they might catch a cold (chickens can actually sneeze)

they eat everything that isn't sweet or milk based. spaghetti and cabbage are their favorites. they go crazy when they eat meat, like legit wild, but we don't feed them meat often or otherwise they will grow accustomed to the taste and might try to eat each other. they do hunt worms and snails though.

one thing that's also weird is how scared they are of balls. before i play basketball in the garden i have to put them in the coop. whenever they see a ball rolling, they go wild

it's a blessing to live in a huge city, have a garden, and not even be in the suburbs. the train station is 1 minute away, the city center is 10 minutes away. my parents really did a great job getting this house. i'm gonna be a bit sad when i move out, but imma probably move out after i pass my bar exam next year

in our country we don't have university dorms like that, i envy the americans who can live on their campus, here only 10% live on campus and most of them are exchange students

im not BSing, the picture is from wikipedia but we have those. 3 of those. they really eat spaghetti. i think because it reminds them of worms. they also try to eat my adidas sweatpants when it has the three stripes, so i had to buy nike sweatpants instead or otherwise they attack me and pick my pants (not a joke). they probably think those are worms too

chickens are funny and smart animals. they also fly much further and higher than you would expect. we had to trim their wings otherwise they would fly out to the street. one of them got ran over by a car once after flying onto our roof and then flying onto the street. it feels bad having to trim their wings but it's for their own safety

It's really not amazing lmao I feel like when I talk about it it sounds more hype than it is. But I'll try and take some nice pics when I get off work.
