front cover sketch just about done

now to decide on whether to reuse it for the back cover or draw a new bust of her there

linework done. tried a new (to me) brush by chainsawroll and i dig it and will probably continue using it as a alternate to the rougher kyle brush i usually use

edit: flats done. maybe try to render it? tried it once but never whole-ass'd it

today's progress: she's pretty much done yay
just gotta color her floating bangboo kids next then ill be like 2/3rds done still need finalize the vector bg though. dont really have a plan yet since ive changed a few things

let's call it here lol though ill probably definitely still be tweaking it anyway

new blank tape available over at Random Play next is to get it printed out so i can give this mortal kombat vhs a home

i think the wip back cover is coming out pretty cool and ill keep it simple at around 1-3 flat colors (lol we'll see) bc i still gotta approach the front cover + bg

how the rendering is coming along.. trying to do better job than the last one

I have a concept in my mind for a project involving a VHS tape. What type of cardstock did you use for the print

just whatever glossy card stock my local printshop had stocked; wasnt that picky. had to make the dieline myself though

okay got all of her damn cop gear on now lol i think im done with her sketch as well but before i move on to linework i want to nail down the front bg and back cover's design

oh yeah its her (zhu yuan) bday today. well isnt that lucky
