Feel like there is a way better movie in here somewhere. Whole film should have been in Comanche. More focus on Naru's character development. More exploration of the relationship w/ her brother. Implement better tension.
Surface level storytelling, but the atmosphere, direction, and action choreography were all on point.
They got a full Comanche dub version with the same actors voice acting it (think it’s the same actors)
Or do you mean done first in Comanche and then do an English dub version

The latter. Comanche first, then English dub. But I understand the choice from a business perspective.
PREY WAS VERY ENJOYABLE DOWN TO EARTH PREDATOR MOVIE - I DIDNT SE NOTHIN WOKE ABOUT IT - AND I READ QUITE A FEW COMMENTS ABOUT THAT , YET IS NOT JUST PREDATOR MOVIE, IT IS GREAT INSIGHT ABOUT HOW TRIBE FUNCTION , THEIR HABITS , WAY OF THINKING.... AND MOVIE LOOKS VISUALY AMAZING,
IT TAKES A LITTLE TIME THAT ACTION STARTS , BUT I LIKE THAT , BECAUSE SUSPENSE WAS NEAR THE CORNER.
AND YES , PREADTOR LOOK IS VERY FIT , FOR A TIME PERIOD WHERE STORY TAKES PLACE.
ALL IN ALL BEST PREDATOR MOVIE SINCE ORIGINAL.
AND I DIDNT EXPECT MUCH , BUT I GOT MORE THAN I COULD ASK FOR.
THANKS FOR THE REVIEW
The fight choreography was legit
The brother was f***ing the Pred up until he used his invisible cheat codes
You know Predator wasn't going to tell everybody back on his home planet that he had to use his invisibility cloak when showing off his wolf and bear trophies cheap ass b****

Wasn't bad but production values and acting made it feel like a TV movie. Photography had the cinematic value of a pickup truck commercial.
I've never complained about girlbosses before but peak Arnold barely escaped one of these guys by the skin of his teeth same with the ultimate girlboss Ripley at the end of the Aliens. Gotta make the struggle more believable.
When the predator came out of the mud in the exact perfect spot where the laser helmet was aimed c'mon man

Bootleg Revenant vibes but I can't imagine this had much of a budget. Seems like they spent it all on the suit/CGI for the Predator then were working with scraps for the rest.
The main two were good but some of the other Natives could have.. worked out a bit. Not an ounce of muscle on these hunter/gatherer Comanche warriors

Magua or especially Chingachgook could've handled him

It was a less advanced and earlier version of them though missing an arm.

Well the brother did stab and shoot the s*** out of him then she shot him in the back of the head, so he was probably feeling pretty woozy by the end. Dumbass even cut his own arm off.

Lmao nah it’s not that unbelievable. It could’ve definitely been way worse.
Imagine all the veteran hunter predators watching this go down from their ship
"Did he just shoot himself in the head with his own helmet? "
The only scene I thought was genuinely dope was the bear fight
Other than that the rest of the movie was mid I don’t get they hype

It's not some masterpiece but it kept me entertained
I think people are just happy to get a Predator movie that isn't a total abomination

The predator entered the fight after getting a bullet through his brain, would you be thinking clearly and fighting efficiently after that?

I can see why this was put on Hulu, but I've also seen worse put out in theaters.
Palm Springs and maybe Run are like the only "Hulu movies" that I think could have done well if they were put in theaters.

Technically Disney was contractually obligated to release it on Hulu instead of a theatrical release like it was originally supposed to, with it being a Fox movie before the merger went down and all
