It’s worth seeing if you have a list of your mother is playing in your area see that instead in my opinion . I have digger over this in some ways but this a good simple watch

I saw that last night and it’s a must see

I thought this was visually stunning, with the cinematography, color grading, and lighting really capturing the feel of the 2000s, alongside the web-based chat rooms, television discussions, camera views, and overall atmosphere. it had a slick noir feel in parts with the score, while also becoming quite extreme in the last third, feeling much like Videodrome.

Robert Pattinson continues to dazzle me with his performances and doesn’t miss a beat as Chris Hansen. probably his best showcase this year. I also want to mention what a big surprise Skyler Gisondo and Merritt Wever were. they were showstoppers in their own way and really elevated the film.

I have a feeling this will stick with me for the rest of the year, since its subject material was captivating. there is a lot to digest on first watch.

It's not. It shows what it might feel like if you're there in the cut near actual pedos and doing this justice game yourself. It feels realistic on how you can somehow hear pedos cry and beg, and you know understandbly know how insane this TV show set up is.

Not once did I feel sorry for the predators. Just "sad" that this situation is unfolding and there's no going back.

He becomes increasingly unhinged more due to a cheating scandal that didnt occur at the time and ratings than the pedos is the issue.

he was never obsessed with ratings, cheating scandal was later, he was never that unhinged, dateline nbc ran 50 episodes a year, to catch a predator took place over 3 years and has 20 episodes total, he never stopped covering crime, he still to this day covers crime and predators. He works with organizations and often gives a voice to victims

Saw his family throughout the entire creation of the show.

The person who cared about ratings , paid perverted justice, got the show to work with police and made MANY DECISIONS is IN THE MOVIE playing HIMSELF .

but sure 20 years later humble the investigative journalist and fill it with lies and sensationalism.

Worth seeing but I genuinely think your mother is a much more meaningful better written movie with not enough marketing that needs the money more
