off first impression the combat seems pretty intricate for a metroidvania which gives this a unique feel

This games is awesome. Too bad it flopped commercially.

I honestly think they should've went with the Sands of Time version of the prince, just because he is much more recognizable in this franchise.This and the game should've not been 50$.

about 3-4 hours in and I am REALLY enjoying this game so far. Beautiful visuals (a lot of these background vistas have been absolutely gorgeous), super responsive/fluid movement, and engaging and challenging combat that I can only see opening up further and further as I progress and unlock more powers. it almost feels like smash bros in terms of move speed and impact with the juggling aspects, and even fights with regular enemies (on hero difficulty) present a real threat. Absolute disaster that this team was shut down

any fans of metroidvanias or side scrollers in general definitely peep this one if you haven’t yet

Its good do far but art style feel kinda souless and i hate main character hairstyle why everyone have Killmonger hair nowadays

This game is a work of art it annoys me very much it didn't sell enough and Ubisoft disbanded the team

Same. Copped this for cheap and I have no idea why this flopped. It’s elite game design imo. Playing this on hero difficulty has me raging tho.

It flopped moslty because it's very hard to sell AA sidescrolling games for 50$, unless you're Nintendo then you can sell it for 70.

Hollow Knight is incredible.
